COUNTRY FINANCIALTRAIL OPENS

A new mile‑long trail is transforming Birky Pond into a vibrant community destination. Thanks to COUNTRY Financial and state support, the space now features restored prairie, birdwatching stations, an outdoor classroom, and more. Discover how this project is opening Heartland’s campus to nature, recreation, and community connection.

HCC-ISU PARTNERSHIP CREATES NEW PATHWAYS

Heartland and Illinois State University are expanding their “Better Together” partnership with new transfer pathways in Special Education and Engineering. The agreements streamline coursework, support working learners, reduce costs, and create clear, efficient routes from Heartland programs to ISU bachelor’s degrees and high‑demand careers.
